Oyster incorporates Asset Tracking in real time, greatly improving productivity and ease of use

Challenge

Oyster was lacking reliable tracking of photographer assets, including cameras, lenses,
bags and computers. Everything was being tracked on paper and through spreadsheets.
They knew that they needed to see real-time location of a given asset and revisit
historical logging, along with a streamlined way to check out multiple assets to a given
resource.

Solution

Trinity developed a robust solution in Quickbase that allowed the integration of a
Bluetooth barcode scanner, the ability to check in and check out multiple assets to a
given resource and real-time and historical logging of asset assignments. This allowed
Oyster to quickly track assignments, repairs, and lost and stolen assets.
